Raw MDF

Raw MDF

The board called MDF (of the English: Medium Density Fiberboard) is manufactured with fibers of wood agglutinated with synthetic resins an industrial process that combines pressure and temperature.

MDF is a homogeneous board, uniform and stable, that allows operations of milling and molding throughout its structure and that offers undoubted advantages in relation to natural wood. It is dimensionally more stable, allows multidirectional cutting operations and its physical and mechanical properties are uniform. It has good thermal and acoustic insulation characteristics and its surface has no imperfections, which allows its use in painting and lacquering processes, as well as its coating with wood veneer, glued paper, laminates, melamine paper or PVC.
