This boards are manufactured by solid and continuous layers of wood, their faces are coated with a phenolic film of various colors and grammages with high resistance to abrasion.
Its most common use is as Concrete Formwork, vertical and horizontal, in walls, slabs, ceilings and frames. Also in general applications in the construction of houses and buildings.
Greater resistance and therefore greater number of uses of these boards depends on the specification of each client, being the key variables to consider the following:
– Adhesive used (WBP Melamine or Phenolic.) WBP test result of the English Water Boiled Proof that measures the moisture resistance of the board)
– Film Gramaje (being 120 grs / m2 the most used)
– Quality and Type of the sheets that make up the board (the most used being fresh)
– Quality of the edges (being Uniform and Painted with moisture resistant sealant the most used).
– Number of pressed central layers of the Board
